Fabric wedding invitations and favour inspiration
It's funny what inspires me from week to week. This week it's this gorgeous piece of fabric I found. Isn't it just devine.
Even funnier thing is, I found it... on the weekend shoved in the back of the cupboard. So... I decided to base one of my new "signature" ranges on it. I'm calling it 'inspired by fabric'. The idea is to use ANY seasonal fabric that is related to your wedding/event. It could be lace, material from your gown, canvas or something you saw and just LOVED - similar to my find.
It was my first time on a sewing machine and my darling Mum was very patient with me - I {heart} my Mum!
Anyway, here's the end result for the invitations:
I also made up a 'spread the love' jam jar using the same fabric. These could be used for cute favours.
Now that I'm in touch with the fabric-lover within; every time I go into a craft store or fabric shop I see more and more inspiration around me. Especially the kids fabric! Gorgeous stuff! So stay tuned, there's lots more ideas where this came from!
