Modern save the dates

Sarah + Tony

The beginning of the week I parted with these magnetic save the dates. Modern, simple, bold and eye catching was the brief, along with the colour scheme of orange, black and white. Apart from their beauty I'm sharing them with you today as they are functionally great too. The idea is this, intended guests place the magnet onto their fridge to remind them of the wedding date until the official invite is sent out. A great idea, and they're so simple to do.

Here's how:

Firstly get them designed by a professional. We then got everything printed at a local copy centre. These cards are digitally printed onto white hi-bulk card so they're sturdy and we went with double sided, but it could easily be achieved single sided. The magnets are printed to whatever size you like, we needed 60mm x 60mm.

Here's the finished product:

Secondly, follow the step by step below:

1. Everything you need. Save the date cards, magnets, REMOVABLE gel dots - this is important, they need to be removable.

2. Place gel dot.

3. Remove the clear backing.

4. Press magnet onto card firmly.

Voilà, easy peezy!!

A couple of nice little added extras which really help to achieve a rememberable impact and help to ensure your mailed save the dates or wedding invitations aren't lost in transit are: colour coding your envelopes coordinating with your colour scheme and printing off your labels. These ones are wrap around labels that have the return address on the back. Simple yet very effective.

If you are needing wedding or event save the dates, I can supply you with everything you need and a few added extras to ensure you're event will not be missed.

If you like my work, I'd love you to share it.

Bye for now
Michelle
