Inspired by fabric #2

Turn a favourite piece of fabric into your wedding stationery.

You may have seen a previous post of mine based around a piece of fabric I found in the back of my hallway cupboard. You can see it here if you haven't. This one is indeed another version.

I just love beautiful fabric and will look for any excuse to pull out my Mum's old Bernina sewing machine.

To compliment the wonderful rustic, country and "hand-made" feel this set creates - an ideal favour is hand-made jam in preserving jars. The lids are also perfect for slotting your piece of fabric into.

Another way to use the fabric is in the ceremony 'order of service'. It nicely adds texture your guests can feel. Also displayed is our well-known 'tears for joy' hankerchief gifts.

Reception styling is full of colour and texture. Emblem place cards and a rose tied with twine.

Love is in the details. A yellow retro scooter just for fun! ...

And for an impression that lasts, finish the tables with chocolate brown tiffany chairs...

What type of fabric would you use for your wedding?

I'd love to hear from you, or better yet, if you know of someone that may like this - why not share the love.

Bye for now,
Michelle
